Depends on how much you value random eye witness testimony. It’s mostly all that, not much hard evidence but it’s somewhat entertaining so far.

Value it as highly as a eye witness in a murder
I think if someone was shown a real alien spaceship inoperatable most would say it is a film prop or rationalize it as a fake. It’s hard for people to believe other beings have visited earth and maybe continue to do so.
