Thanks, but this makes 0 sense to me since I'd only just whipped up the wallet for that specific transaction?

Steps: Make new wallet, save seed, click swap, input another wallet's ETH address for the USDC to pay for the XMR, click swap, wait.

At what step are you saying the wallet wasn't synced? Also, this is legit not a problem across 20+ wallets I've used in my Blockchain lifetime.

Yea kinda getting in the weeds here.

You didn’t do anything wrong the wallet and the node were not synced for some reason (bad connection through Tor maybe, internet connection or…).

A wallet needs to connect to a blockchain through a self hosted or public node. If the node or wallet are not synced you are not going to see the transaction. This would be true of any blockchain.

I might not be explaining it well enough but glad it worked in the end.
