if you’re a runner what’s your practice like?

One long run, one day of speed work and the rest of the week easy runs to get the miles in
Trail running is awesome. Like on dirt, especially if it's level
My favourite part of my day—the run. I'm currently following this half marathon training plan and really digging it!
that’s awesome!
Yeah it's been great. Decided to make some big changes this year and, no matter where life takes me, if I pack my shoes I can log some miles!
Are you training for a race?
Yes, this time. I've long been a recreational runner—2-3 times a week kinda thing—but picked a race a few months out (May) and decided to commit to a strict training plan. It's early days but I'm steadily improving. In fact, I'm already thinking I'll pick another event after this one to keep with the routine!
Ha, then I am just a month ahead of you in my training. What pace are you training for?
I only run when training for a race but when i do train, everyday is different. Some days are sprint/jog intervals, some are long distance runs slow pace, some are short distance fast pace, but everyday is a different overall distance
This days my routine: Half Marathon plan by Jack Daniels (Daniel’s Running Formula) One classic. 80 km for week. Two quality sessions for week. Goal: <1h30m. April 2 is the day. Looking for Berlin Marathon sub 3h.🏃🏿♂️😅
For Marathon season:
1 Long Run a Week
1 Tempo Run
1 Speed Run
2 or 3 Minimum Effective Dose runs so 3-6km
I only run in WODs and still destroy most people in 5k. I don't understand runners. Seems pointless.
