This will be the first year I won't be giving out silver dollars as Christmas gifts to family. Instead they will be getting bitcoin.

Silver is still a good gift for younger kids.

Next Christmas I'll probably give both.

Do you give bullion or govt coins (silver eagles, etc) ?

I like junk silver, specifically half dollars. The history aspect is neat for the kiddos and half dollars are not common in circulation

update: none of the family took me up on my offer.

yes, yes, "we are so early etc", but still very disappointed.
