The reason being is LNbits has a app for umbrel os and umbrel has bitcoin and lightning nodes so that helps. I tried with windows lol but found using umbrel installed on Ubuntu worked epically if you only have 1 machine. You can install umbrel on a Pi or a old pc as a server.

Side not if your installing on a pc and don't remove the keyboard and display when trying to boot you may get a "no bootable device" error. People found if you put the hdd as a external drive umbrel will boot.
