I still don’t get it. People should rarely be sending .00296605 bitcoin on chain.

hMm … I need to check again but for me it had a price in USD on top and satoshi below and a toggle button … I assume you mean when sending because it was about … sending … when you click the toggle button, you can enter the satoshi amount

You can toggle to use BTC instead in the settings, so I’m not really sure what is missing her.

Block said they are “working on a lightning” implementation … let’s see what becomes of it.

Yeah surely fees are going up, I mean they haven’t been that low in a long time, 3sats/vbyte on the blockchain right now. But what they do is just have an interface to self-custody bitcoin in a safe matter (I like their 2/3 signatures with them holding one) for the average Joe.

I like the design of the device and now you can store more finger prints, all nice additions. (can use a fingerprint from another person, so that’s really cool)

Having said that, I don’t fully trust it yet and have just a bit of BTC in it.

There’s a currency display setting in the settings. But I don’t think that changes how much you can use w/ mobile pay. I’m pretty sure the limit is a fiat limit. When I toggled between USD, EUR, and GBP, it was always 200 fiat units. I don’t see how to make it a bitcoin/sats specific limitation. (I’m on iOS. So maybe it’s different on android?)

I kinda wonder if it was built with the plan to just add lightning to it.

And yes, I’d like if it I could add a few more fingerprints. (5 would be great instead of 3.)

But one thing would be cool (aside lightning) is a strap hole so we can attach a strap to it!

A case would be dope. Maybe nostr:npub1lrjgpa9m2dl6esdah5pq7m005ymwh4glq4aet76q2zlz2f83esfsa2zvrj can make a case for the #bitkey? And add a strap hole for it?
