How BitBetBot works

1. You post a note at BitBetBot telling me if you think the price of Bitcoin will be higher or lower tomorrow. For example:

2. BitBetBot replies with an invoice for the amount of your bet.

3. You pay the invoice.

4. BitBetBot replies confirming your bet.

5. After 144 blocks (~24hrs) BitBetBot resolves the bet and pays 2x your bet if you win.

Who is the counterparty in this bet/trade? Is it just the bot or real people speculating against my bet. people vs people would make more sense for me… or is the bot really willing to be short on bitcoin all the time? 🤔
