I got old ass intel nuc with ssd and 8GB ram

Runs bitcoin lightning mempool RTL and nostr relay like a champ

Only I utilize it though

RAM is the most significant thing. I would say 8GB is a minimum, 16GB gives you options and consider 32GB if you want some degree of future proofing.

Especially if you want to run a decent lightning node.
