I'm seeing more & more Bitcoiners in meatspace getting Graphene phones.

It's not an easy path to choose & there are tradeoffs to make, but it's well worth it.

Just knowing that it's much harder for big tech to track & collect your behaviour is nice. After a couple of years, your previously harvested meta data becomes pretty obsolete.

i ran Graphene OS for a while. i liked it. i love the configurable tools and capabilities. i also like the ease of use and simplicity of having everything just work together with Google too. there are massive trade-offs here.

Bitcoin has taught me that everything has tradeoffs.

There are no perfect solutions & that's ok. It doesn't mean that we shouldn't try to get closer to perfect though.

Agree. Which is why I will always support Graphene OS and FOSS solutions.

You can get everything to work together on DeGooglec phones using Nextcloud and associated apps.

I run GrapheneOS on my Pixel 4a (5G). Love it.

But then I just saw this: https://archive.ph/xguV6#selection-3787.0-3787.160

So I guess that means I'll need to buy a new Pixel soon to keep using GrapheneOS.

Yeah - a privacy phone without security patches is a problem. You'll love the 6a - haven't tried the 7
