I want to give a non-custodial gift of sats to a youth, but I don’t want them spent. This child can not hold on the money!🤦♀️ Looking for suggestions on how to do this. Thoughts on time lock???

Create and fund a new seed. Give him/her half the words and the address (watch only) with a note to come and see you in 10 years (or period you choose). You’ll promise to give them remaining words on that day so they have the keys to spend.
1) show him the USD equivalent balance every year to remind him
2) remember to safely store your other half of the words
3) hopefully he/she will study bitcoin in the interim
4) he/she will pass on the legacy or a portion of it anyway
