People are conditioned to believe freedom is a bad thing. I had a conversation with my old neighbor a few years back and at one point in the conversation he said “well, you know those Americans, they gotta have their freedom”. He said it like it was a bad thing, I shit you not. When he said it I remember thinking to myself, wow. 🤯
