I was just saying this to a friend and fellow Nostrich over lunch yesterday. We fortunately/unfortunately live in a small town with NO dining options.

Sometimes it sucks but most of the time it just allows me to make memories with my family in the kitchen and of course: stack more sats with the savings.

True both an up and a downside.

When I was growing up I lived out in the country so I had to cook if I wanted to eat something that I considered interesting and that my parents didn't cook. it's also a skill that will last them for a lifetime.
