I am completely with you on that point. 100%. College is a scam. My son is 19 and is spending what should be his first year in college other ways. And I can afford it.
Yeah, I'm just pissed too because my son really wanted to go to this college and it was pretty pricey, so he had to settle for something else, but he's happy, I'm happy, but it just sucks.
when I went to college in 1988, four years all in cost about $20k. And that was at a major state university in Texas.
