I'm not much of a fan of football but North American jokes about the game like this have been done to death and are tediously unoriginal.
It is quite clear that North America has its own aesthetic with sport. And that there's a rift with most of the rest of the world's sport aesthetic. You (Canada, the USA, Mexico) really sem to vibe on performative violence and power projection. Witness the fake wrestling, American football, and yr penchant for super heroes. It's all pretty bizarre from the outside.
Yea, because constant performative injuries on the pitch while fans toss urine bombs while beating each other up is so not bizarre😂

I’m starting to really enjoy rugby. Watched a couple videos explaining the rules finally and that helps. Makes all the pads / stoppages in American football feel kinda fiat.
Soccer is the sport version of edging.
