About which part? Around 15 years ago I dated with the daughter of a leading engineer at the local Nuclear power plant. Sundays at the lunch we talked a lot about the future of transportation and local energy grids. Then the EVs in my country literally not existed only the phev versions like the Toyota Prius. He told me that even if it will be cheaper to make and sell future EVs it will be impossible to have a mainstream adoption. Why? Simply because if the significant part of big cities will use EVs when they plug in those the electric lines in the ground will just burn out. They were planned 50-70 years ago where the EVs were nowhere. Changing these lines takes decades, but till today it not even started.

15 years ago it might have been truth.

Still I'm not supporting EVs, I'm against buying oil and depending from other countries.

I have money enough to have a car but I'm fine with public transportation. Most of the countries I know in Europe you can live perfectly without any car.
