It makes sense for something like that but I was running a node on Alby and I just didn't have enough movement to justify it.

Makes sense. But in the future if you want to take self custody it'll be good to have your own lightning channels. Because getting to 1M sats for a good size UTXO is going to get more and more challenging
That checks out. Im just the little guy though, id love to justify running a node though.
