This is good though, why would we want banks acquiring and fractionally reserving bitcoin?
I agree with Hal Finney’s take. Bring back full reserve banking. On the way there banks will play stupid games and win stupid prizes. But in a way I am sympathetic to what you are saying. I would much prefer everyone self-custody and be their own bank.
Yeah, but we want permissionless ecaah lightning banks. Legacy banks and their government puppets need to die.
