machining metal locks, trying to iron out DFM issues between between 2 countries. I do want to get 3D printer to play around and eventually pass it to my tween nephews. Any suggestions?

Manufacturing issues will almost always keep you busy.

Don't have a printer suggestion. I haven't even really used one yet. Haven't had the opprotunity. However, I do want to get one for 'shop' purposes!
