Joking side, I think in their view, Hayek strayed later in life.

As a secular Bitcoin user, I think Bitcoin's monetary theory is broken similarly to the more extreme Austrians views on the gold standard. But from that perspective it's even more disappointing that they don't take Bitcoin seriously, since it's a chance to see if they're right.
