I understand that I can curate my own feed, but this is my first day here. New users want to see art, independent journalism, food, etc. and when the default feed is entirely arguments and conversations about zaps and crypto, most people will never stay long enough to adjust anything.

Welcome. Search hashtags. Most have added -str in the end. There's actually a lot of artists and parents. Sogo for #musicstr, #artstr, #mumstr #dadstr and of course normal words. Curating takes so much time, take it as training in being your own master. Also, don't be afraid to give a mute and steer away of what is annoying.
