I've had trouble following self-help and behavior modification books. What about this one makes it your go-to?

I've had an aversion to the genre too. I think it was more refined that a lot of other books I've read on the topic.

The information was less gimmicky and more actionable than many others I've read. It is very much based in psychology and evidence, with logical explanations.
