Can you use the wallet by itself or does it need a node?

I'll rephrase lol..do you need to run the node on the phone in order to use the wallet or can the wallet just be used by itself?
It's build in but you don't sync the entire BC, just the headers. Best to try it out. It's pretty amazing ngl, I love the UI aswell
