15 years ago San Fran was still sort of a "small" big city. Had a good vibe. 5 years ago it felt crowded and frenetic but not in a good way.
I'd like to go back and see it again. Beautiful place though.

I lived there briefly in the late 90s. Magical. Needless to say, much has changed. It’s become regrettably homogeneous in its attempts to be anything but.

America is wild man. So much differences between so many of the states. Portland and Dan Fran are so hipster and liberal. And then the south is so conservative, football and trucks and then the northeast has its own maritime vibe... Not to mention Alaska and Hawaii.
USA is such a unique country.
