once again I find that the services I seek are rare to non existent in the market place, I suppose I'm just too strange for cookie butter services.

for years I have avoided entirely the idea that one can invest with stocks, having been a sound money guy for as long as I have been working. when younger I've held precious metals, today that and bitcoin, but I find that had I allowed some previous 401k accounts to grow I would be better off today.

so I have begun to lo9k more seriously at this idea.

if we engage in investing as day traders or speculate on trends and market predictions I have no choice but to agree with my younger self, we are GAMBLING.

yet I believe now that through proper analysis and understanding there is a place for free markets and sound money to invest in solid businesses and to see a return on investment from that risk taken, I think that if the correct stock is chosen than long term investment is the only proper course of action. and that decisions to buy and sell should be based on fundamentals and not stock price.

However, for someone with as little capital as myself I find it hard to locate a money manager that shares these views, does anyone on nostr know of a good firm to open a discussion with?
