During a time of persecution, Saint Sava, a #Goth by birth and a Christian, was arrested and faced the Roman governor. Refusing to renounce his #Faith, Sava boldly confessed his belief in Jesus Christ. He was subjected to horrific tortures, yet he remained steadfast. His persecutors, enraged by his unwavering conviction, drowned him in the Buzău River.
