Whenever something distracting pops in my mind I excuse myself to the restroom, set a timer for 3 -5 mins, and flood my brain with the thought. I only allow myself to think about whatβs already in my head without forcing it to change. Before the timer runs out Iβm usually over it and ready to get back to what I was doing. Sometimes I end up crying the whole time but when the timers up I dry my face and keep it pushing.
