A mental trick I have is to visualise something already done/finished, and to become excited about the outcome.
Yeah I find that works at the task level.
But if I find myself needing to use tricks like this a lot, I sit and question whether my Identity/beliefs are aligned with the task/action. Because if they are, the actions flow naturally from them, without need for tricks. Feels so good to take small steps toward modifying either the identity/belief, or the action, so that everything is a little more straight.
