Thinking about getting a practice car (rear wheel drive) under $10k to prepare me for the Supra Cycle. I wouldn't want to drive the Supra into a tree, that scares girlfriends.

Toyota MR2 and Mazda RX-8 are very good options within the price range.

Any other recommendations?
