What about an AI dedicated to yourself, living only on your devices, getting to know you and your habits?! Performs all the boring, procrastinational tasks for you. This is me, thinking about all the setup tasks for personal AI.
My life hack is that my operations manager is my husband. I run the front end of the business, and he runs the back end. Prior to him joining I was running the whole thing which eventually became untenable.
But yeah I have been looking at hiring an equity analyst and an assistant, and the thought of dealing with the email and administrative burden of finding them keeps making me delay it (even though the whole fucking point is that they are there to save time).
An operations manager is key. What I’ve found myself though is that everyone wants access to, as you say, “the front end”. And that is the one asset, the individual, who isn’t scalable. Does help when you have a subscription platform though.
I attempted years ago to institutional my advisor business and have others be on the front line directly interacting with clients and all those demanding access to the key knowledge worker. Just wasn’t able to get there in the end. Everyone just wanted my time.
The only solution is to price your time accordingly. I wish that I had done so much earlier. Spent too many years trying to be everywhere for everyone and it caused ripples and problems all over. #liveandlearn.
more of a wife hack than a life hack....
ok ...
I'll see myself out.
I tried to do the same, and it worked quite well in the beginning, but then I got my operations manager pregnant and unfortunately the baby isn't old enough yet to reply to emails.
