I just paid (exchanged sats for value) for food, firewood, eggs, and earlier this month, even salaries—all in #Bitcoin.

The most practical way to engage with Saylor’s perspective is by using #Bitcoin as we see fit—as a tool for value exchange/currency.

The circular economy thesis that enables #Bitcoin to truly function as the "Decentralized Electronic Peer-to-Peer Cash System" it was meant to be begins with each of us.

"Notice that opportunity lurks where responsibility has been abdicated."

So, what is our responsibility as #Bitcoin users when it comes to unlocking the true financial empowerment Bitcoin promises?

At its core, #Bitcoin is just a TOOL.

A tool for empowerment, financial inclusion, and unlocking incredible possibilities—but it is not those realities on its own.

Saylor is simply capitalizing on the micro-responsibilities we’ve neglected as Bitcoin users to push an agenda that benefits him and his circle.

How do we realign?

By embracing the Spend & Replace mindset. Let the sats flow. Uphold the "Not your keys, not your coins" principle. It's time to put action behind the values we hold.

My pleasure! Thank you for your work in showing people that bitcoin is in fact a currency!

Proof of Work is our best language of communication to the world.

Let’s keep working for #Bitcoin

absolutely agree.

unfortunately a fixed supply strongly incentivizes maximizing your hodling.

Maximizing the Hodling shouldn’t be a problem, just try to convert your day to day spending to happen via #Bitcoin

Im not saying it isn't possible to spend. i do spend Bitcoin.

I'm saying the game theory of Bitcoin is heavily skewed towards hodling.

and since thats where the incentives lie, thats what people are going to do.

I agree and I also do not think Bitcoin is a threat to government unless people spend it and use it as an alternative to fiat. Otherwise its just a digital store of value that probably is easier for the government to find you have bitcoin even if they cant control it.

Bitcoin is not a threat to the government.

Bitcoin is a separation of state and money

Have you read the book? titled the same?
