The app is just a gateway to the nostr protocol which allows many apps to be interoperable.

The protocol has no central authority and nobody can delete or censor you. Some people don’t care about that. The fun part is being able to send money to people for just about anything even for individual notes. It opens up many possibilities.

Welcome, this is a freedom app. Imagine fiat currency is many social apps, this is bitcoin. Not perfect, but def a path to being free.
