A short, fascinating video on why there is reduction of demand of nuclear energy. According to this, nuclear is the 2nd safest energy after solar - and living next to it for a year has lesser radiation than one exposure of CT scan, flight or general life on earth

Did they release the healing Fukushima waters yet from the melted down reactors? I think it was quietly announced so I hope you didn’t miss out on bath time.

your reaction and animosity on hyped up news is perhaps a good

reflection on why research on advance energy source gets halted. Must have really

triggered you for you to comment 5 days later

It’s not a reaction and the news came five days later. I read the article. Did you? The water must be released over the next thirty years and still many are worried. Maybe Nuclear is the answer but the risks operate at different time scales. If we are in a rush Nuclear may be too risky!

we shouldn't be in a rush. neither should we halt research and development. and any outcome should be agreed upon by the people

Please don’t be mad if I find an article in five days to post here that says we should be in a rush. There is plenty of research being done. The time scales are different though. Just to decommission the reactors that are at the end of life now will take at least a few decades. So going nuclear actually means setting up a completely new industry. Welcome to orange skies in the meantime.
