If you've ever found yourself missing the "good old days" of the #web, what is it that you miss? (Interpret "it" broadly: specific websites? types of activities? feelings? etc.) And approximately when were those good old days?

No wrong answers — I'm working on an article and wanted to get some outside thoughts.

I miss the MySpace pages where you chose a song to come on when people visited your profile.

Nothing else has had that level of personal touch. The platforms have all been walled gardens since.

Not having to provide an email, username nor password and not having any popup box asking anything nor advertising anything. Straight content of all shapes forms and sizes.
