This super conductor at room temperature thing that all the nerds are getting excited about sounds just like false hype tbh.

I know nothing btw about the subject. I haven’t studied physics or chemistry since first year of university.

But all the hype and excitement reminds of crypto, metaverse and nft hype in 2021.

Hi man

Might just be another hoax. An economically viable superconductor would be a giant technological leap forward. I have seen a bunch of false alarms in the past decade.

Well if true then sure all encryption is screwed. I know nothing about quantum computing but been told this could kill encryption’s private keys.

I am skeptical that fancy quantum computers will be able to brute force attack sha 256 encryption. And if they could I bet we could adapt.
