Call me cynical, but I don't think the Global 2000 care. Smaller businesses could differentiate by demonstrating that they do. There, I'm more hopeful.

I agree. It’s the smaller businesses, those that are threatened to be pushed out or bought out by the big “data controlling” platforms, that might care to do it differently.

But still, I like to think in terms of incentives. I wonder how “trustworthiness” becomes a big enough incentive to promote transparency?

This a possibly a trillion dollar question.

I’m all ears. I’m keen to bring businesses to build apps on Nostr, by illustrating the incentives to do business “the Nostr way”. Part of this is “offload app data to user control” … another big part is “transparency for the other data still held private”. It’s this other part … I’m convinced the incentives are here in Nostr … but unlocking them.
