It's grown a lot. 45 min south of Mexico City. When I grew up there phone numbers where 6 digits, large village status.
It's relatively safe. Plenty of public transportation for cheap. It's beautiful there. They called it "the city of eternal spring."
Amazing cuisine. Downtown is very colonial with Spanish influence and beautiful cathedrals and museums. Also botanical gardens.
I may have to dox myself when I make it back to MX.
