I use Aqua Mail. Not sure about it's privacy but it has a lot of great features.

Proton Mail's security is solid. A notable feature that sets it apart is its support for PGP/GPG. Although not widely used, I recommend requesting its use when emailing someone.
Another option is to host your own mail server.
