How do I get to Nostr from iris? Are the iris keys the same as the Nostr keys? Can I just join Nostr without using iris? Where do I find this information? Thanks

Your private key is the same on all clients. You can sign into any other client with the same one that you are using right now to post this note. Just back it up safely and don’t accidentally share it.
