Yes, Bitcoin could face inflation. If governments ever gain control over it, it would become just another fiat-like currency — no different from the dollar or euro.

That’s a valid point. If governments were ever able to fully control Bitcoin, it could undermine its decentralized foundation — which is what sets it apart from fiat currencies in the first place. The real question is whether the architecture of Bitcoin can withstand such centralization attempts, or if it will evolve to maintain its core principles despite external pressures.

Imagine they make Bitcoin illegal and own it or to run a node would make you a long time sit in prison. Then Bitcoin would be History and a government has that Power. So, FYG ....
