Batteries are more toxic than gasoline. And less efficient. Aside from the fact that we don't even use them for wind and solar power stations.
A battery is made once, and making it environmental cost, but it doesnāt keep polluting every mile you drive. Over its life, it actually prevents more pollution than it caused to build.

And Iām sure you understand why we donāt use them. That mustāve just been a typo. In case it wasnāt. We donāt use them because we use traditional methods overnight. The day that we want to get serious about renewables, we will start investing in battery farms.
