I don’t consume any mainstream news and I don’t notice anything different where I live. That’s as far as I’m willing to let my opinion go.

That was over 40 years , I don’t now the exact number 5-10-20 million 🤷‍♂️ but over a 3 year period our

Infrastructure can’t handle that many people . I think that’s the difference

There is a lot more goverment assistance avaliable these days.

And the donor culture makes a difference too.

Either western (I'm in the UK 🇬🇧 we have our own problems) cultures change to accommodate the migrants or the migrants adapt to the host culture.

Depends what we want.

Back in the time scale mentioned a lot of that migration was European.
