Why is it so common that interactions on Nostr are so much MORE refreshing than other socials? What’s the secret?

I wonder if a lack of advertisements had something of a catalytic effect on the quality of user interaction. I'm quite curious. I've never used tiktok, Instagram, Twitter or anything closely related. So... hard for me to say 🤔.

Perhaps addictive behavior is just more common on centralized social media due to them being strictly business and profit based organizations. Dedicated more to user data collection than anything else. Nostr users seem a touch more fascinated by the innovative aspects of the protocol and creation of decentralized alternatives. In short, nostr users don't seem to possess as much of a "all eyes on me" sort of mentality. Lol. 🤷‍♂️ Just a guess. Quite intriguing to think about, though. 🤔
