You mean like Satoshi did? I dunno, probably the same thing, your Bitcoin just becomes more valuable. Except Saylor would have a bunch of pissed off investors.
Satoshi's coins are not proveably burned.
I'm of the opinion that he's just the world's greatest hodler, and believes that the world isn't finished changing, and he believes deeply in the ideals of Bitcoin and project that he brought to life. I think his first purchase will be a pizza for like 10 sats. And the pizza gets delivered and there's no one there.
But anyway the effect to this point has been the same as if he'd burned the wallet.
Also it seems difficult to provably burn coins.
