Although I never really liked the term third world country, I don't know how else to explain it.

The term was made to classify countries that
neither sided with NATO or the Warsaw Pact.
Idk when it got the popular "undeveloped country" meaning after that...

Developing world is the PC terminology.
It's not perfect either though.
