Profitable = create more than we consume
Mission: be profitable within 12 months of receiving our first ducklings
Year 1 business lines:
- forest mulch
- premium soil
- duck eggs
- duck shacks
- duck reservations
Our unit of account is sats
If we produce more than our family requires to survive, we sell it for sats
We charge a premium (21%) on fiat payments and we immediately convert the worthless fiat to sats
We don’t collect taxes for the state
We are long sats, short fiat
We employ 100% natural farming practices that regenerate our land
That means we have a net positive impact on the soil and forest health while increasing biodiversity each year on our farm
We cover crop, dynamically rotate foraging pastures in the forest, allow our ducks to roam freely each day with abundant ponds available to meet their needs
We believe that the health of our duck products (eggs, meat, jerky, broth) is a direct reflection of the health of our animals
We strive to grow the happiest & healthiest ducks on earth
Zero use of chemical intervention on our food or our animals
Our belief is that animals that live naturally don’t get sick
Our initial pricing will be based on cost of production +12% profit margin
We will adjust our fiat price each year based on inflation of $cad money supply (this is true inflation) which hedges our increased costs of production
Priced in hard money (sats), our prices and costs will continually decrease each year
Priced in easy money ($cad, $usd), our prices will continually increase each year
