I wouldn’t be so sure about tile laying, roads or carpentry. There are already home building machines out there. In Japan, one of the most popular home builders is a modular home built in a factory and assembled on site. The process is basically an assembly line and does not require as much manual labor as building a house on site.
The point being, people don’t look 2 steps out at what the future of some process might be. Instead, they think about things I’m the context familiar to them, thinking that’s how it’ll always stay.
