👆 this is going in the direction I have been talking about for a few years. nostr:npub12rzunrxvx89f78h4df284lzvkjqetljkq0200p62ygwmjevx0j8qhehrv9 is on the right track here.

I’m lost. What do we do with that note?

https://pyra-handheld.com/boards/pages/pyra/

This is the link to a prototype handheld pc that doubles as a cell phone

So from what I see though no camera, 😔

A feature that will be added if the demand is there I suppose

IF there is demand? For a CAMERA?

There is certainly a privacy-centric group that would be happy to do without a camera.

And if a very simple one can be used to scan QR codes, it would keep the cost down.

Optionality is good.

Sure, make it optional, but there is no question as to IF there will be a demand.

I would be happy without the keyboard and a touch screen in its place. I could type on screen, like I am now, and then Jack in with a USB keyboard if I’m looking to really type. Regardless, a great step in the right direction. I’ve not understood why we didn’t just start here 20 years ago.

Copy and paste the note (note1csrdlmlwz2dvzg28g4d4akzqd0cklpjxq5msrwfsdy55afpw66qsntn7yw) in a different client (Snort, iris, Plebstr, Nostur, Primal…etc). If you are using Damus, it was not showing for me either. All of these clients/apps are new and we are all in Beta mode with Nostr. If one is glitchy try another one. I recommend using multiples just so you get to look at your options, pick your preference and have backups for instances like this.

Paste it in search?

I got it to work. Thanks!

Arm ARCH is terrible for open source. Binary drivers.

Gotta Love Gadgets like this.

Gotta love Junk mail that pops up during a screen capture to.

I’m beyond ignorant on such things but the first use I thought of was as a master control station for an optimally automated homestead that was not connected to the web. Automated livestock feed/water/observation, automated water/monitoring of crops in all their zones, audio/visual property surveillance, private comms with selected people and groups, etc. Kinda like the stuff Chris DeVidal is working on.
