I think if you want to ensure high quality of education, funding helps. With YT, the lecturers have to be that damn good or niche to get the # of viewers and subscribers, to get paid - and I've learned so much online compared to paying $$ in universities. Khan academy gets funded, i learnt more about economics there than in an MBA class. But if you can create a solution that has its own little Q&A tuition setting, and enable payments, I think that's a major win
