The exchanges (strike, river, azteco) and tech (bitkey) are other variables that have also grown up. It’s never been easier to buy bitty and self custody it securely. These are called barriers of entry in economics. They have basically gone away. Capitalism is the engine that powers this. It’s not out of some orange piller altruism, it’s to make profits/add shareholder value. Profits aren’t a bad word.
