Not sure what version is in AppStore, but if your on Damus, check for updates. I’m on TestFlight and it has integrated an image upload button in lower left corner. If you don’t see that, you have to upload using an external site. I use https://nostr.build/

It’s straight forward after getting to NOSTR.build. Just choose file to upload, after file uploads, the site generates a url, you select copy, then go into Damus and start a note and paste the url into the note. You won’t see the picture until the note is posted. It takes a few times to get comfortable that your image will be there. Just trust the process.

You can use the current app on iOS, it has an integrated photo and I think video uploaded, but you’re having some trade offs there regarding other features. Just fiddle around with it, maybe it suits you?
